Third Mine Arts, Lori Goodman
Lori Goodman works in glass, ceramics and fibers. For the past several years she has been focusing on creating fused glass tiles and incorporating them into mosaics. A lot of the mosaics represent radial designs which can also be viewed as Mandalas and used as a visual for meditation.

Artist Statement
Creating art is not about producing a product that I can sell. For me personally it’s the process of creation, using skills and techniques in a precise manner and bringing into existence an object which is sacred. In 2002 I received a bachelor’s in Arts Education from Towson University and have been teaching children in Baltimore County public schools and the Community Art Center at Towson. Currently I am in graduate school earning my Masters in Arts Education and raising my 2 children. Although I love working in a variety of mediums, fusing glass and making mosaics has become my main form of expression.
